One of the great challenges of adulthood is making dinners that taste great, but are also super easy and generally healthy, don’t you think? After a long day of work or taking care of kids, the last thing you want to do is spend an hour prepping an elaborate meal.

These chicken thighs are the perfect solution. Quick, easy, super tasty, and healthy. In our house, chicken thighs reign supreme over chicken breasts. So much more moist and flavorful and pretty much fool-proof. Throw these babies on the grill, add a quick side dish or two, and you have a great dinner ready in no time.

Quick And Easy Grilled Chicken Thighs

BBQ chicken thighs edited 2

6-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs

1/2 bottle of your favorite bbq sauce. We used Sweet Baby Ray’s.

Sprinkle with your favorite chicken seasoning. We like the Traeger Chicken Rub.

Use Hickory or Mesquite Traeger Pellets

Grilling Directions

Start your grill on the smoke setting for 4-5 minutes with the lid open. Turn your grill to high and wait until the grillĀ is nice and hot.

When the grill is hot and your chicken is seasoned, throw the chicken thighs on. Grill chicken thighs for 5 minutes on each side. After you flip the second time, brush the top with the sauce and let cook for 2 minutes to let the sauce caramelize. After 2 minutes do the same to the other side and cook for another 2 minutes. Take the thighs off and serve with your favorite side dish.
